Membership of the Society

Membership in the Malta Philatelic Society is open to all collectors who have the hobby of stamp collecting at heart. There are no other requirements except those necessary to maintain a high moral standard.

Applicants for Membership are invited to furnish full details about themselves and their collecting interests. Whilst being submitted on a voluntary basis, this information enables the officers of the Society in planning the annual programme and best meeting the needs of the membership.

For your convenience, application for membership may be submitted online.

Some of the main benefits derived by Members:

• The Malta Philatelic Society has a full and varied programme of activities to offer its Members. As a Member you will be able to exchange ideas and meet or communicate with others sharing your same philatelic interests.

• Several members of the Society are specialists in their chosen field.

• Membership in the Society means that you receive the Society's Journal.  This is published at least twice a year.

• Members who have philatelic material for sale may send it for circulation in the Exchange Packet and local members can purchase other members' material from the packet. This service is not available outside Malta.

• Members who have access to the Internet have additional benefits available.

Application for Membership

The Malta Philatelic Society, Malta's national society supporting the study and collecting of stamps and postal history, invites you to become a member.

Kindly complete this form which, once you have reviewed, verified and pressed the "Submit" button, will be electronically transmitted to the Society.

IMPORTANT! PLEASE TAKE NOTE:

Payment of the subscription must be forwarded to the Treasurer before your application can be activated.

The correct amount to be remitted is set out in the Membership Fees Schedule.  The Treasurer's address is also included.

ONLY safe receipt of funds bears witness to your willingness to become a Member. PLEASE DO NOT apply unless you intend following up your submission!

We recommend that you send a signed printed copy of this page together with your payment, keeping a copy for your records.

You may download an Application for Membership in PDF file format here.  You will be advised of your unique Membership Number by ordinary mail at the address that you provide us with in the Membership Application Form.

Confidentiality

The Malta Philatelic Society respects the privacy of its Members and it is not the Society's policy to pass information about its members, or membership, to third parties. All information submitted in the Membership Application Form will not be divulged to third parties without the written consent of the applicant and will be used solely for administrative purposes.
