MALTEX 2009 PHILATELIC
EXHIBITION
The tenth Maltex Philatelic Exhibition with the theme
“THE RUBBISH OF TODAY IS THE GOLD OF TOMORROW“ is being organized by the
Malta Philatelic Society at
THE
GREEN LOUNGE,
THE PHOENICIA HOTEL,
FLORIANA.
The three-day event will take place between Friday 9th till Sunday 11th
October, 2009.
As in previous editions, this year there will be four sections in which
members will feature their exhibits, namely:
a.
MALTA
Traditional / Postal History
b.
FOREIGN
Traditional / Postal History
c.
THEMATIC
Collections / One Frame Exhibit
d.
YOUTH SECTION
Under 16 years
Participation in the Exhibition is open to members of the Malta
Philatelic Society.
All Exhibitors will be presented with a Diploma of Participation.
A complimentary Stock Book, kindly donated by Messrs. Sliema Stamp Shop,
will be presented to all youths exhibiting.
The Philatelic Exhibition will be open to the general public on Friday,
Saturday and Sunday the 9th, 10th and 11th
November respectively, as indicated hereunder:-
Friday 9th October
09.00 hrs > 18.00 hrs
Saturday 10th October
09.00 hrs > 18.00 hrs
Sunday 11th October
09.00 hrs > 12.00 hrs
